Max Winzar had the unenviable task of trying to fit sitting figures where they didn't fit very well! We were very grateful he persevered with this unrewarding task, keeping characters consistent over many, many pages.
Max is the consummate professional.

Getting there, getting there. Here is the fifth instalment where we interview our 3D artists who worked together on the project.
Riley created our beautiful Medieval world with fantastic lighting, and poor John was the Jack-of-all-trades who did all the background work to get the game into a playable state. Hear what they have to say about what it was like to work on Frog's Princess!
Why is it taking so long to get the launch party videos out?
You will see when you see all the art which has been placed in the background. Here is an interview with Christy Butt, the longest running member of the Frog's Princess team.
Gabriel Allani created the male voices for Frog's Princess.
He said he was disappointed with one of his characters, but that character voice was one of Kathy's favourites!
Next person to be interviewed was Scott Purcival, who did the programming for Frog's Princess from June 2018 until December 2020.
Find out what the project was really like when he began!
Our wonderful composer Christian Paterson was the first person interviewed during the launch party.
Hear him talk about his experiences creating music for Frog's Princess. On Wednesday 9 December 2020, we had a launch party and Kathy screen-shared the moment she pressed the button to make Frog's Princess go live on Steam (the PC app store).
In that same week, the game was launched on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. So yes, this really happened! It is 2 December 2020.
Our programmer Scott Purcival is working at 1:30am getting rid of bugs in the lead up to our game launch. He needs help. And who does he find, looking for bugs in his office for him? Kathy is so grateful that websites like WebAIM exist to help designers create high contrast, enabling them to design for people with colour vision deficiency. Here is a before and after shot of the dialogue text colours - the original colours mostly failed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and the final colours passed, except for the Witch. We were very sad not to be able to use the murky green colour for the Witch outline, but if you use bright red then you basically have to go close to black to get enough contrast. Even though it is an apparent fail for the most stringent guidelines, they don't take luminosity into account, and in fact the text appears more boldly than for, say, Emma's colours, which pass. Sharp-eyed readers will note that one set of colours goes missing. Yes, we killed off a character. Alas, poor Harriet, I knew her well.
The GCAP talk is up now. The game, is, sadly... not.
