Prince Francis
Hyperactive Prince Francis is the only son of the noble King of Olden. He is always jumping into trouble and he's convinced he'll never live up to his noble father.
The King has ordered Francis to travel to Kassel because there are three princesses there and nobody else has a soldier like Iron Henry who can get through the forest surrounding them. Even Francis should be able to woo a princess successfully under these conditions. Surely?
Striving to look happy, Francis teases Iron Henry. He can't keep still and when they are attacked by a Witch he stands on his horse out of the way of Iron Henry's protection and is turned into a frog.
As a frog, Francis is desperate to change back into a prince to rescue Iron Henry, but he can’t get any princesses to kiss him to change him back. Francis has one great strength: he never gives up.
With the youngest princess’s help he grows in confidence and eventually learns to trust his intuition. But he will always be hyperactive!
