The South Australian Women in Innovation Award was announced over Zoom. Kathy won the award for creating Frog's Princess, the world's first full length fully voiced fully interactive children's novel. [She explained to the judges that Brave Rock Games' Alice in Wonderland would have been the first but it has minimal interactivity.] Kathy was sent treats on the day and THEN there was a photoshoot!

The SA Screen Awards game category is for games up to 30 minutes, so we entered the demo, Chapters 1&2, which takes 30 minutes to play. AND.... We received a nomination in the Best Game category!  South Australian Women in Innovation is a hard working group of volunteers who celebrate innovative South Australian women. They do this with their Winnovation Awards. Kathy cunningly announced her nomination in the Arts category for a Winnovation Award, because she didn't expect to win. But... Kathy won the 8th annual Winnovation Award in the Arts section, for making Frog's Princess!  |
